]]> We are excited to announce that registration and the call for abstracts are now open for the 2nd Annual Species360 Conservation Science Alliance Research Symposium!

This highly anticipated event brings together conservationists and researchers from around the world to share insights and innovative approaches to global wildlife care and conservation. The free online event will showcase the latest research using data from the Species360 Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS).

Join us to learn more about some of the many wonderful ways researchers are leveraging aggregated and anonymized ZIMS data to unlock new insights about the animal kingdom.

Call for Abstracts

We invite researchers to submit abstracts to be considered for a presentation slot at the event.

Abstract submission instructions: We are seeking research projects that are using ZIMS data as part of the main data resource within the data analysis. This could be, but is not limited to, standardized data obtained from the Species360 Insights programme, institutional data, or processed data acquired through the Species360 Research Request process.

Due to the online format of the symposium, we will only be accepting oral presentations. Each presentation should have a duration of 10 minutes, and provide a focused and engaging overview of the research. The submitted abstracts should have a maximum word count of 250 words.

Deadline for submission: 16 May 2025

Review process: To ensure a high standard of quality and relevance, all submitted abstracts will undergo an anonymous review process. This process will be carried out by the Species360 Conservation Science team, who will select the most compelling and relevant presentations for the webinar.
